On March 26, the memorial menorah, installed in Drobitsky Yar in the vicinity of Kharkov, where in late 1941 - early 1942 the Nazis shot about 20,000 Jews was damaged as a result of artillery fire by the russian military.
After the recent rocket attack on Babi Yar in Kyiv, Drobitsky Yar became the second place of mass executions of Jews during the Holocaust destroyed by russia.
“Year 2022. Now it is Drobitsky Yar, after Babi Yar. Menorah at the site where the Nazis during World War II executed 20,000 Jews in the vicinity of my native Kharkov, mutilated by today's artillery attack, completely destroys the myth about Nazism in modern Ukraine”, wrote Boris Lozhkin, the President of the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine on his Facebook page.
